Come to Maharishi Peace Palace for deep relaxation, revitalisation, and enlightenment over the Christmas Holiday and New Year period. This will be a very special course for all Meditators, Sidhas and TM Teachers, offering the most extended periods of “rounding” in the beautiful, comfortable environment of the Peace Palace. This is the longest course in the annual calendar of the Peace Palace, although you may also attend for shorter periods.
The course will include tuition in Maharishi Yoga Asanas, extended practice of Transcendental Meditation (and for Sidhas, the TM-Sidhi Programme), and Maharishi Ayurveda guidance and consultations. In addition, there will be the option to take three days of “Silence” at the start of the New Year. The whole emphasis will be on deep rest, transcending, and enjoyment – comfortable programmes, the company of wonderful people, and delicious food!
There will also be a delightful programme of profound knowledge under the guidance of Dr Peter Warburton, who spent 36 years with Maharishi.
With the aid of rare archival recordings and the writings of Maharishi, Dr Warburton will tell the precious story of the revival of Vedic wisdom that started with Guru Dev in the deep forests of central India and, through Maharishi, spread to the whole world. This is story of the revival of the knowledge and techniques for supreme development of human consciousness and the creation of world peace and harmony.
Maharishi started his teaching in South India in 1955 and, a few years later, left India to embark upon 14 world tours, establishing his Organisation in over 100 countries. In 1974, 19 years later, Maharishi sent Dr Warburton to South India to start training thousands of Teachers of Transcendental Meditation, who would eventually teach TM in every District of India.
During that time, Maharishi sent Dr Warburton to meet the special individuals who supported Maharishi at the very beginning of his teaching, and to visit the same holy sites in South India where he had started his teaching. During this course, we will hear Maharishi’s precious talks about this special time, and Dr Warburton will recount some of the amazing stories of Maharishi that he was blessed to hear from those dear souls.
As Maharishi declared on 20 November 1955 at the start of his teaching:
“Here is the message of hope for you. Here is the Divine call of rescue for you. Peace and joy of living await you. Do not reject it. Come on and have it. The sun of Guru Deva’s Blessings is now up on the horizon. Wake up from the deep slumber of apathy and agony and enjoy all glories of life material and divine.”
