World famous psychiatrist to speak at the newly-opened Peace Palace in Rendlesham, Suffolk

A public talk will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 17 October at the new Maharishi Peace Palace in Rendlesham, Suffolk, by world-renowned medical doctor and researcher Norman Rosenthal, the first doctor to describe and name Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), which affects many people in Britain.

Dr Rosenthal, Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University Medical School in Washington DC, has written two books on Transcendental Meditation highlighting its ability to relieve common conditions such as anxiety, depression, addictions, high blood pressure, post-traumatic stress, and burnout, and at the same time to enhance performance and lead a richer and happier life.

Referring to the hundreds of peer-reviewed research studies on Transcendental Meditation, Dr Rosenthal notes: ‘In my 37 years as a practising psychiatrist, TM is one of the most potent non-drug treatments I have encountered. I recommend it frequently in my own clinical practice.’
